Through a dynamic process using a variety of media, Abrams creates sweeps of delicate organic structures which mimic plant life and vibrant creatures in a three dimensional landscape.  At its core, Abrams’ work is rooted in the concept of systems theory and is about relationships, exploring the systemic nature of environmental and social issues.  Transitions from organic to man-made and repurposed materials connote the transition of landscapes under duress.

Abrams, a sculptor and jewelry designer, has exhibited nationally at the Corcoran, the Smithsonian, Pentimenti Gallery, McColl Center for Art + Innovation, Redux Contemporary Art Center, City Ice Arts, Glass Wheel Studio, Boston Center for the Arts, and numerous other distinguished galleries. Ms. Abrams has also been awarded coveted residencies at Sam and Adele Golden Foundation for the Arts, Escape to Create and the Jentel Foundation.
